Also, Albuquerque and Philadelphia were not on my radar at all, so I'm glad to get that feedback. Thank you!Jackie Flahertyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01281805627413757188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6907998473923142657.post-23029902587428410722009-10-18T15:42:35.075-05:002009-10-18T15:42:35.075-05:00This is a paper lover's dream come true! A whole spread devoted to paper and stationery stores sounds wonderful!

It would be great to see Philadelphia featured in the magazine since I live here and am always looking for new stationery stores.

But Paris also sounds like a great idea. I just went in June, and I had to do a lot of research into paper stores beforehand. I would have loved to have a list (with photos) beforehand.

In Paris, we loved L'Ecriture (paper, envelopes, seals, pens, journals), L'Art du Papier (lots of blank stock, journals, cards, pens), Marie Papier (mostly blank stock), Gilbert Jeune (a bookstore with a decent blank stock selection), Melodies Graphiques (calligraphy pens and nibs, beautiful engraved cards), Le Bon Marche's basement (great paper from G. Lalo, Jean-Rouget, notebooks, pens), and one adorable stationery store on Rue L'Abbesses in Montmartre whose name escapes me.Eileenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00680065056617207872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6907998473923142657.post-70854478133366043122009-10-17T07:35:12.261-05:002009-10-17T07:35:12.261-05:00I visited a lovely stationery shop in Albuquerque,...I visited a lovely stationery shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico, called Papers! but they don't have a website. Albuquerque would be a great place to highlight stationery, though. There are lots of little shops in the university area (called Nob Hill) and in Old Town. And in Old Town there is a shop that sells just kaleidoscopes, art that somehow goes with letter writing, don't you think?PostMusehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10577063129345816693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6907998473923142657.post-9974039530836481532009-10-17T00:38:51.451-05:002009-10-17T00:38:51.451-05:00i'm from san francisco, born and raised :)
