Blogs about Pens

Pen lovers may have their favorites, but one thing is certain- They cannot have just ONE! Here are some recent pen blogs. Every time I check there seem to be more of them, which is not a bad thing. There's no way to highlight them all, but here are some recent posts I came across- most of them talking about pens in general, rather than a specific review.

My Pen List by Kelly Kilmer (Mixed Media Artist)
Ink Links from the Pen Addict
Favorite Fountain Pens by Inkophile
Pens & Pencils (He calls himself an old geezer)
8th Carnival of Pen, Pencil and Paper (Pocket Blonde)
Fine Point Face-Off (Note Booker, Esq)
Parker 75 (Julie at Whatever)
Pencil Case Review (Pen Archives)
Paper & Pen (The Orchard)
How Does the Pen Addiction Start? (Goldspot Pens)

I think that when new people happen across this hobby, or, at long last, find others like them online, they realize how much they enjoy reading posts about pens and then they start commenting and, soon, they have set up their own blog. Think of all the poor souls out there who think they are alone in their pen addiction. Fear not! fine friends. We are here for you.

This pen is a Levenger brand(true writer, I believe). I just checked and did not see that this style is still available. I love using it with the amethyst ink. I don't think I've ever used another color in this pen. Blue, brown or orange just wouldn't seem right.

http://www.levenger.com (if you didn't know) They will also send out catalogs, which I love, although I tend to drool over them looking at all the dreamy stuff I want.

I used to have so many pens and went through a stage when I was a fountain pen purist and wouldn't use anything else. I had cartridges in every color I could find. Now I'm addicted to Pilot Precise V5 extra fine felt tip pens and always have a package on hand.

Thanks for the mention.

The history of Levenger's True Writer can be found at http://tinyurl.com/575sc9. Most have been retired but a few remain available.

I spy my Levenger True Writer Starry Night and I have the Bahama Blue version of that Amethyst Demonstrator on the far right. They had a really good sale on both of them and they are no longer made now so that makes me feel like a proud owner of some rare artifacts.

Hi! Came across your blog through Empathina's profile, and let me tell you that I am a pen addict as well! Only I have a thing about just-black-ink. Other than that, from ballpens to fountain pens, to glass quills... they are simply fascinating!

Thanks for gathering up the blogs for us! You are an angel :-)
